It was on watch instant today and I decided to watch it while screengabbin' -
yes I own it, but seriously, it has the best characters.
people who say they like La Dolce Vita as their favorite fellini film can suck a bloody because 8 1/2 blows it out of the water.
I am going to share with you:
My favorite Characters in My favorite scenes, ever.
First the main character: Guido played by Marcello Mastroianni. The hottest, fynest, most amazing human to ever walk the earth, please fuck me because I want to have your beautiful children. Seriously put your genes in to my furry cookie, now.
He plays an endearing womanizer who is a filmmaker.
Next is Guido's Secret Love Affair, Carla, who is hilarious and quirky.
And then there's Guido's Wife, Louisa, who is the foxiest, sassiest, most amazing woman ever.
There is also a young philosophy major who I can relate to, Gloria, she's for us post grads.
So then my most favorite scene, man I'm such a fanboy, but anyway, my most favorite scene is when Louisa, Guido's Wife, sees Carla, Guido's secret affair and calls him out on it.
And finally, I love all the commentary on filmmaking.

Yeah, 8.5 beats the crap out of La Dolce Vida. Beats the living crap.

I thought it was perfectly fine, it looked the same as my criterion copy ... I put it on while I was working on something, but I ended up reading the entire thing and not working on what I was working on at all, and then I felt like a shmuck because Ive seen it a billion times.
